Julian Schwab got his first piano lessons at the age of 5. From 2001 to 2004 he was a member of the Würzburger Domsingknaben and he began to take violin lessons with his parents at the age of 10. Besides succesful participations at the competition Jugend Musiziert (2005: 1st prize in the category string-ensemble), Julian Schwab attended masterclasses with Helmut Zehetmair, Christoph Schickedanz, Friedemann Eichhorn, Pierre Amoyal and the Quatuor Ébène.
Since 2012 he studies violin with Prof. Ernst Triner at the University of Music Würzburg.
Former Viola teachers were John Kinsella (Dehler Quartet) and Nimrod Guez (former principal viola Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and BR Symphony Orchestra).
Since 2015 he is a member of the Novalis Quartet. He is a founding member of the Parzival Trio.
